FAQs

  • Eight weeks of age is when puppies need to learn to be independent from their mother. Thus, puppies can go to new homes starting as soon as 8 weeks of age. All of our puppies are ready for new families now!

  • Further details on what vaccinations our puppies have and what a puppyhood vaccine schedule looks like will be further explained in-person. Rest assured, our puppies will be current on their DHPP and Bordatella vaccines.

  • Outdoor potty training is in-progress. Families that have completely cemented backyards can use pine shavings from the pet store in the hamster section to direct where the puppy can go potty sometimes. Pine shavings are scented wood shavings, and puppies like to potty on things that smell fresh in nature. Though be aware that pine shavings can make your backyard look messy. In a new home environment, puppies can sometimes forget where they are allowed or not allowed to go potty. During our in-person meeting, I will provide additional tips to make the transition as smooth as possible.

  • Puppies live with each other in a play pen on top of a dog cot in the family room when it's bed time. Puppies are very social pack animals, so they will be happier when with each other. Since it's a family business in our own home, we do not have a practical commercial facility to separate the puppies in their individual crates to learn crate training. Thus, it is the new family's responsibility to teach crate training if crate training is something that you are interested in.

  • Training is in-progress. It is up to the new family to complete obedience training or to teach other types of training to the puppy. We advise looking for a professional dog training school or watching YouTube tutorials to teach what you are looking for.

  • Rule Number One in buying a puppy: NEVER BUY OR PAY A RESERVATION FEE THROUGH A WEBSITE. NEVER PAY VIA ZELLE WITHOUT MEETING THE DOG FIRST AS WELL. This practice is associated with scammers. Our business practice is very simple: First come, First served. You text us to schedule an in-person meeting, and then we will text you our address. The earliest families have first pick, so we do not reserve puppies. You pay using in-person payment methods like cash, zelle, or debit/credit card through our card reader. You take the puppy home the same day as the meeting. Again, other families are ready and interested, too, so do plan accordingly for when you are really ready to meet in-person.

  • Please contact us if we still have the puppy you want available. Text us a screenshot of the particular puppy you are interested in. Our developer will update the website every weekend on current availability.
